Nature's Classroom has opened its doors to the community once a year since 2007. This event is a school fundraiser that supports the feeding of our collection of animals on site. The event is called our "Woods, Water, and Wildlife" celebration and the next one will be held on April 28, 2018. Please save the date!

Our April 28th event will be held from 9am until 3pm. This is a one day only event on a Saturday. Gate entry is $10 per carload. Boat rides are $2 per person, river conditions permitting. We will also have a food truck on site. This is a CASH only event and there are no ATM's on site. We will also have children's activities, animal experiences, hikes, a shoreline sampling experience, and exhibitors. Please do not bring mini-buses, buses, coolers or pets. We also do not allow alcohol on the property, and smoking is limited to a designated area away from the activities.

Nature's Classroom is a public school site and we ask that you conduct yourselves as if you were visiting any middle school in the District. We hope that you will come enjoy the peace and quiet of Nature, as well as the fun activities we have planned for you. Come see what all the 6th graders in the Hillsborough County Public School District rave about and remember the rest of their lives.

Our summer camp opportunities will be available on this date with information and sign up (including a notary) at the information booth during the event.

Hope to see you out here!
